Fruit salad experience in Infant lessons

We have been making a fruit salad with children. In some occasions they were cook in others they had to taste food and guess them.

WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL: This is our assitant Amy, a friendly Scottish girl who decided to fly to Spain to meet us. Thanks in advance for your help and dedication. Happy school year!
The first thing we had to do was to know something about Amy's cultural contents. Every cycle worked on some specific aspect such as: food, the Scottish flag, the national dress (kilt), its music (bagpipes), etc. Students hanged their worksheets and drawings on the English corner.

DAY OF ENGLISH

The thirty-first of May we celebrated in our school "The Day of English". English teachers from other schools and people who work in the UK came to our classes and spoke in english to our students. All the students in our school sang and danced the song "Hockey Cockey" in the playground. Parents were invited to see the performance, to drink some tea and to eat some biscuits. We also listened to the English National Anthem and at the same time, students waved the UK National Flag. It was a fantastic day!



















El día 31 de Mayo, celebramos en nuestro colegio el "Día del Inglés". Maestros de inglés de otros centros y personas que trabajan en el Reino Unido vinieron a nuestras clases y hablaron en inglés a nuestros niños. Todos los alumnos/as cantaron y bailaron la canción "Hockey Cockey" en el patio de nuestro centro. Los padres vieron la representación y fueron invitados a beber té y a comer unas pastas. También escuchamos el himno nacional británico, mientras los niños agitaban la bandera nacional del Reino Unido. ¡FUE UN DÍA FANTÁSTICO!

SYMBOLS USA VS UK

This is the English corner newly decorated with symbols from both the United States and Great Britain. The English teachers and sixth level students worked together to find the different symbols used in the different  countries. For example in the United States their currency is the US Dollar, and in England, they use the British Pound.

El Rincón de Inglés se ha decorado nuevamente con símbolos de los Estados Unidos y del Reino Unido. Por ejemplo en los Estados Unidos la moneda oficial es el dólar estadounidense y en Inglaterra la libra esterlina.
